Ardbeg Spectacular is an Islay single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Ardbeg to be matured in rare port casks, which were then married with classic bourbon casks.
On the palate it is full and oily, with a salty freshness of menthol and wood smoke alongside sweeter notes of toffee, apple crumble and fudge.
The finish is long and lingering, with leather, salted caramel and a persistent note of mint.
