Ardbeg – Still Young Single Malt (70cl, 56.2%)

Ardbeg Still Young is an Islay single malt that was first created for members of the Ardbeg Committee. It is bottled at cask strength, 56.2%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colouring. The name refers to the youthful energy of Ardbeg's younger whiskies, and the malt draws on a mix of cask types. The nose combines strong peat smoke with maritime notes, citrus and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, Islay peat leads, with peppery spice, sweet malt and a mineral edge. The finish is very long, with lingering smoke and a subtle sweetness.
