Ardbeg Ten is a ten-year-old Islay single malt, bottled by Ardbeg at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured in oak casks and is peated, with a strongly smoky character. Citrus, sweet malt and a maritime edge run alongside the peat smoke.
The nose brings dense peat smoke and bonfire with lime, grapefruit, vanilla, malt and seaweed. On the palate it is oily and smoky, with sweet malt, vanilla, pepper, salty sea notes and a fresh citrus lift. The finish is long and smoky, with dry spice and salty sea air.
