Ardbeg – Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old Batch 1

Ardbeg Traigh Bhan Batch 1 is a 19 year old single malt and the first in a series of batches planned yearly, each with a different composition. It was matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. The name comes from the Singing Sands beach on the south coast of Islay, where the sand is said to sing underfoot. The beach also appears on the packaging. Each bottle carries a batch code that records the batch number, the distillation date and the initials of distillery manager Mickey Heads.
