Ardbeg Traigh Bhan is a 19 year old Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. This is Batch 1, a small batch release inspired by Traigh Bhan beach, known locally as the Singing Sands.
The nose offers herbal pine resin, smoky pineapple and dark chilli chocolate. The palate is peaty and smoky, with toasted oak and paprika, leading to a gentle finish that lasts long after the glass is empty.
