Traigh Bhan Batch 3 is a 19 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, the third batch of a limited edition planned to appear in a new composition each year. It was matured in a mix of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks.
The name comes from Singing Sands, a beach on Islay's south coast where the sand is said to sing underfoot. The beach appears on the packaging.
Each bottle carries a batch code that includes the distillation date and the initials of Dr Bill Lumsden, Ardbeg's Director of Distilling and Whisky Creation.
