Ardbeg Traigh Bhan is a 19 year old Islay single malt, in this case Batch 4, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. The whisky was matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso sherry casks. The series is named after Traigh Bhan, the beach on Islay, and this batch was bottled under a full moon. It is typically described as having mentholic, herbal notes, with intense smoke left lingering in a peaty wake.
