Ardbeg Traigh Bhan is a 19 year old Islay single malt, here in its Batch 5 form, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. The whisky was matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso sherry casks. The series takes its name from Traigh Bhan, the beach on Islay, pronounced tri-van. The style is typically described as having mentholic, herbal notes, with intense smoke left behind in a peaty wake.
