Ardbeg Traigh Bhan Batch 6 is a 19 year old Islay single malt, matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. It is a limited edition, and an age-stated release of a kind Ardbeg has issued only rarely in recent years.
The name comes from Singing Sands, the beach on Islay's south coast, where the sand is said to sing underfoot. The beach appears on the packaging. Each bottle carries a batch code, and this one records a distillation date of 4 April 2005.
