Ardbeg – Traigh Bhan 19 Years Old Batch 4 (Limited Edition)

This is the fourth batch of Ardbeg Traigh Bhan, an Islay single malt carrying a 19 year age statement. The name comes from the Singing Sands, a beach on Islay's south coast where the sand is said to sing underfoot, and the beach appears on the packaging. The whisky was matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. Each bottle carries a batch code, and this one records a distillation date of 7 March 2003. The code ends with the initials of Colin Gordon, the distillery manager. A new batch with a different make-up is planned each year.
