Ardbeg – Wee Beastie 5 Years Old (70cl)

Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a five-year-old Islay single malt, matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It is a young, peated whisky that leads with raw smoke, cracked black pepper and pine needles. In the glass it is pale gold. The nose brings campfire smoke, freshly ground black pepper and pine resin. On the palate there are charred oak, dark espresso and aniseed, and the finish is long, salty and peaty.
