Ballechin 13 Year Old Cask Strength (70cl, 54.9%)

Ballechin 13 Year Old is a cask strength single malt, bottled at 54.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is the peated style made at Edradour, sold under the Ballechin name because the original Ballechin distillery no longer exists. Edradour sits near Moulin, a few miles west of Pitlochry, in the Highlands. It is believed to date from 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still preserved entirely in the farmhouse style. Its two stills once made just 15 casks a week, and an expansion that began running in February 2018 lifted capacity to around 500,000 litres of pure alcohol a year.
