This Ballechin was distilled in 2010 and matured in a bourbon cask, number 307. It is bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. Ballechin is the peated style of Edradour, sold under that name because the original Ballechin distillery no longer exists. Edradour lies near Moulin, a few miles west of Pitlochry in the Highlands. It is believed to have been founded in 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still preserved entirely in the farmhouse style, with two stills that once made just 15 casks a week.
