Ballechin 2011 Straight From The Cask #266 (50cl, 59.2%)

This is a 2011 Ballechin from the Straight From The Cask series, bottled from cask number 266 at 59.2%. It comes in a 50cl bottle. Ballechin is the peated style of Edradour, a Highlands distillery near Moulin, a few miles west of Pitlochry. Edradour is believed to have been founded in 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still kept entirely in the style of a farmhouse operation. Its two stills once produced just 15 casks a week. The original Ballechin distillery no longer exists, so the peated Edradour carries that name.
