Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask is a single malt from the Dufftown distillery that William Grant built in 1892.
The whisky spends 14 years in traditional oak casks, then is finished in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. Balvenie is one of the few Scotch distilleries with its own floor maltings.
Creamy toffee and fresh fruit show on the nose. The palate is round, with vanilla and sweet oak and a fruity character that builds with time, and the finish is soft and lingering.
