Balvenie Double Wood is a 12 year old Speyside single malt, sold in a 70cl bottle and bottled at 40% ABV. Its name refers to two stages of maturation. The whisky spent its 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels of American oak and in hogsheads. The distillery then gave it a finish in Oloroso sherry casks made from Spanish oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
