Balvenie – The Week of the Peat Aged 17 Years (70cl, 49.4%)

Balvenie The Week of the Peat is a 17 year old peated single malt from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle. It began with distillery manager Ian Millar, who found a gap of a week in the production schedule. He used the time to experiment with Balvenie spirit and peat, and the experiment has been written into the schedule every year since. It was bottled at 49.4% ABV.
