Blanton's Straight from the Barrel is a single barrel bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. This bottling comes from barrel no. 6500 and was bottled in 2026 at its natural strength of 64.2%, without dilution or chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The bourbon was aged in new, heavily charred American white oak in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace. The mash bill is built on corn, rye and malted barley, with a low rye content.
The nose brings vanilla, caramel and dark sugar, with oak, spice, baked fruit and dried apricot. On the palate, sweet corn, butterscotch and honey give way to oak tannins, black pepper, cinnamon and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, oak and spice.
