A limited edition Kentucky bourbon from Lux Row Distillers, bottled at 49.3% ABV. Pact 9 belongs to the annual Blood Oath series, in which each release has its own character.
It is a blend of three bourbons: one aged 16 years, one aged 12 years and one aged 7 years that was matured in Cognac casks. The master blender selects each cask individually, and the Cognac influence brings added sweetness.
The flavour runs to caramel, honey and dried fruit, with subtle hints of oak and spice. The finish is long and warming, with a touch of spice.
