Octomore Edition 06.1 is a five-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, in a 70cl bottle. It was a limited release, made with Scottish barley and carrying a phenol level of around 167 ppm. Intense peat smoke is its main character, with vanilla, fruit and spice running alongside. The barley was grown on Islay's peaty ground.
