Octomore 15.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, part of The Impossible Equation series. It is peated to 108.2 PPM and bottled at a cask strength of 59.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for five years in a combination of first fill bourbon casks and recharred ex-bourbon casks. It was bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring.
It is usually described as fruity and sweetly aromatic, with the peat smoke typical of Islay.
