Bruichladdich Rocks is an unpeated Islay single malt at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour. Jim McEwan created it, and it is double matured in specially selected casks.
Its character comes from the sea rather than from smoke. The nose is fresh, with sea breeze, citrus, green apples, pears, honey and vanilla. The palate is silky, with citrus peel, white pepper, a little honey sweetness, mineral notes and a hint of seaweed. The finish is medium, with salty sea notes, citrus and a pleasant malty sweetness.
