Bulleit 10 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for a minimum of ten years in charred new American white oak barrels, bottled at 45.6%. It was the first age-statement release from Bulleit, launched in 2013, and is made from a high-rye mashbill of 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and cinnamon, with dried fruit, peppercorn and a cool menthol hint. The palate starts silky and lightly sweet with brown sugar and maple, then moves to cinnamon, clove and allspice alongside cooked cherry, chocolate sponge and burnt orange peel. The finish is long and warming, with oak, tobacco, maple and custard.
