Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45.6% in a 70cl bottle. Selected barrels from the bourbon production are held back and matured for ten years in charred American white oak, and the rye-forward recipe is kept. It is chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose shows strong oak, vanilla and caramel with rye spice. The palate is soft at first, then turns woody and spicy, with cherry, leather and dried fruit. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with cayenne pepper and a drying, ashy touch.
