Bushmills The Original (1L, 40%)

Bushmills The Original is an Irish blended whiskey in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40%. It combines triple-distilled malt whiskey with lighter grain whiskey, in a recipe that goes back to before Prohibition. The whiskey matured in bourbon and sherry casks. It is made at the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, and the Bushmills whiskey tradition reaches back to 1608. It is chill-filtered and has added colouring. Light fruit and warm spice come on the nose. The palate is soft and gently warming, with a full texture and a touch of honey sweetness. The finish is clean and fresh, with a fine note of spice.
