Bushmills The Steamship Bourbon Cask (1L, 40%)

This is an Irish whisky from The Old Bushmills Distillery, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It belongs to a series inspired by the SS Bushmills, the steamship that set out in 1890 on its maiden voyage to deliver bottles of Bushmills to the United States. The whisky was matured in charred casks of American white oak that once held bourbon. These were set aside, made to order, by master coopers in Louisville, Kentucky, with whom the distillery has a long working relationship.
