This is a blended malt Scotch that brings together whisky from all five single malt brands made in Campbeltown: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. It was vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery.
The malts were matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and the whisky is bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
The nose is buttery, with sea salt, ginger loaf and pecan pie. On the palate come creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and toffee, with a thread of peat smoke. The finish is medium to long, with a leathery, slightly maritime note.
