A dark rum from St Lucia, created as a tribute to the founders of the distillery. It is a blend of rums aged between 6 and 12 years, matured in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon and in oak barrels that once held whisky.
The rum has a dark amber colour. On the nose there are molasses, vanilla, honey, exotic fruit and spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate is full and balanced, with caramel, dark chocolate, tobacco and leather, leading to a long finish with sweet spice and warm wood.
It can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or as the base for sophisticated cocktails.
