Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (40%)

Connemara Peated Single Malt is an Irish single malt made at Cooley Distillery and bottled at 40% ABV. It draws on the old practice of drying malted barley over peat fires, pairing the smooth, sweet character of Irish whiskey with a layer of clean peat smoke. The nose is sweet barley with wafts of peat smoke, baked apple and honey. The palate is lightly honeyed, with clean smoke, vegetal peat, gentle spice and vanilla oak. The finish lingers with smoke, warming oak, sweet almond and persistent peat.
