Connemara Peated Single Malt

Connemara Peated Single Malt is an Irish single malt made from malted barley dried over peat, which is unusual among Irish whiskeys. It is gold in colour with a green shimmer. It is distilled in pot stills at the Cooley distillery on the east coast of Ireland. The nose is intensely smoky, with vanilla, oak and a little dried fruit. The palate is full and complex, with deep peat smoke, a touch of spice and a creamy texture. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with a hint of sesame oil and lingering warmth.
