Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt, matured first in American ex-bourbon casks and then in refilled Tawny Port casks. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is described as pleasant and easygoing, showing a wide range of exotic flavours. Dalmore takes its name from the Gaelic for a big meadow, and the distillery, whose emblem is the golden stag, has made its Highland malt by the same traditional method since 1839.
