A 2011 single malt from Edradour, matured in Burgundy casks and bottled at 48.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery stands at Moulin, a few miles west of Pitlochry, in the Highlands. It was probably founded in 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still kept entirely in the style of a farmhouse operation. For a long time it was the smallest in Scotland, with two stills making just 15 casks a week. Capacity now stands at around 500,000 litres of pure alcohol a year, following an expansion that began operating in February 2018.
