The nose combines slightly tannic oak, vanilla, caramel and burnt custard, with a toasty popcorn note. The palate has charred oak, syrupy sweetness, melon, chocolate cookies and cinnamon. The finish carries lingering barrel notes, warm spice, orange marmalade, bittersweet citrus zest and roasted nuts.
