Finvara The King's Gambit is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey blend, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made in copper stills from malted and unmalted barley, at an unnamed distillery in the historic Fort of Dealgan on the Castle Town River. The name comes from Irish folklore, where the king of the mystical realm of Daoine Sidhe is said to love whisky and to be an outstanding chess player, which explains the King's Gambit.
