This is a three-year-old Icelandic single malt from the Eimverk distillery, released as a single barrel and bottled at 47% ABV. What sets it apart is the finish. Toasted birch wood staves were placed in the barrel, giving the whisky a finish in birch. It is bottled in its natural colour, without added colouring and without chill filtration. It is described as having a sweet and spicy aroma.
