Fratelli Alessandria Verduno Barolo DOCG

A Barolo from Fratelli Alessandria, produced in Verduno at the north-western edge of the Barolo denomination. Nebbiolo here gives a more delicate, floral expression while retaining structure and complexity. The wine is light garnet red. The nose brings rose, violet, cherry, spice, leather and a subtle mineral note. On the palate there is harmony between acidity and finely worked tannins, with ripe red fruit and a light balsamic finish. It pairs well with refined meat dishes, mushroom and truffle dishes and aged cheeses.
