George Remus Repeal Reserve Bourbon Batch 7 (75cl, 50%)

George Remus Repeal Reserve Batch 7 is the seventh release in the Repeal Reserve series, a limited-edition blended bourbon bottled at 50% in a 750ml bottle. It combines five bourbon reserves distilled between 2007 and 2014 at Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, using two mashbills, one with 21% rye and one with 36% rye. The nose has caramelised pecans, candied cherry and plum, with a hint of peppermint. The palate is caramel and candied raisin, followed by cinnamon bark, vanilla and brown sugar. The finish is long and warming, with cinnamon and peppermint easing into vanilla, caramel and dry oak.
