GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is an unpeated Speyside single malt and the distillery's core expression. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring.
The whisky is matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks together with new American oak barrels, a mix that gives it a cask-led style.
The palate is often described as layered, with fruit preserves, Christmas cake and treacle toffee alongside dark chocolate, roasted coffee and warming spice. Savoury hints of stout and dried mushrooms run through it, and the finish is long and rich.
