GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's core range, bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour.
It matures in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, red wine casks and virgin oak casks of previously unused oak, with a clear sherry influence. In 2025 it was named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.
The nose brings dark chocolate, dark sugar syrup and heather honey, with cinnamon, espresso and sweet raisins behind. The palate starts with marzipan and orchard fruit, then warming mocha, butterscotch and grated nutmeg. The finish is medium to long, oily and gently warming.
