A 12-year-old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and non-chill-filtered. The distillery was built in 1967 at the foot of Ben Rinnes.
The nose is warm honey and ripe fruit, with marzipan and sweet caramel. The palate is full and rich, with honey, marzipan and banana, while butterscotch and raisins give a soft, sweet base and a hint of mocha adds depth.
The finish is pleasantly long and soft, with honey, caramel, dried fruit and a touch of mocha.
