Glenallachie – 12 Years (70cl, 46%)

Glenallachie 12 Years is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Glenallachie is a fairly young, modern distillery, built in 1967 beneath Ben Rinnes. Its water comes from the river that flows down from the mountain. S. Lothian Barclay and the architect William Delme-Evans designed it, and its four stills are joined by several large warehouses. The name is loosely translated as valley of stones.
