Hibiki Blender's Choice is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. Introduced in 2018, it was created to fill the gap left by Hibiki 17.
It blends malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, matured in American white oak, sherry and Mizunara oak casks. It carries no age statement and has a deep amber colour. The bottle has 24 facets.
The nose offers wild strawberries, ripe peaches, a little pineapple and crème brûlée. The palate is smooth and creamy, with honey, dried fruits and gentle spice. The finish is long, with soft sweetness and a touch of bitterness.
