Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2022 is a limited edition Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on whisky from Chita, Yamazaki and Hakushu and has been matured in sakura (cherry blossom) casks, alongside ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The label shows spring blossoms.
The nose is floral, with cherry blossom, sweet osmanthus, vanilla and citrus zest. On the palate come acacia honey, crisp pear, a sweetness like sakura mochi, and ginger and white pepper. The finish is moderately warm, with floral notes returning alongside oak and spice.
