High Coast Distillery – Dàlvee The Signature Malt (70cl)

Dàlvee The Signature Malt is a Swedish single malt from High Coast Distillery, formerly Box Distillery, in Kramfors. It was the distillery's debut single malt, released in November 2016, and comes in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley and water from the Höga Kusten region, and aged in a combination of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. Dàlvee means 'valley' in the local dialect. The nose offers fruit, vanilla, light oak and honey. On the palate come apple, pear, vanilla and gentle spice, and the finish is medium, fruity and clean with oak.
