High West 'A Midwinter Night's Dram' 2024 Act 12 Scene 4 is an annual limited-edition rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle. It starts from High West's Rendezvous Rye, a blend of straight rye whiskeys.
That base is finished in ruby and tawny port wine casks and in French Limousin oak barrels.
The nose offers brandied cherries, pecan cinnamon rolls, allspice and dark figs, with vanilla and a note of herbal rye. On the palate there are poached white peaches, stewed rhubarb, tiramisu and spiced plum over firm rye spice. The finish is long and warming, with dark cocoa, cinnamon bark and a soft port sweetness.
