High West – Rendezvous Rye (70cl, 46%)

Rendezvous Rye is a straight rye whiskey from High West in Utah, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery and saloon began with David Perkins, a biochemist who set out to bring small-batch distilling back to the state. It is a blend of two straight ryes of different ages. A 16-year-old whiskey from a 95% rye mash bill supplies rich aromatic qualities, while a 6-year-old rye adds bolder, spicier character.
