High West Rendezvous Rye is an American straight rye whiskey bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made with a high rye content in the mash, in the way rye whiskey used to be made, rather than the 51-53% rye found in many straight ryes.
The nose offers poached pear, bitter orange, ground ginger, lavender, wet sandalwood and tanned leather. The palate brings persimmon, dried apricot, snickerdoodle, ginger chews, walnut sauce and spiced caramels.
