A single cask Highland Park bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother. It was distilled in 2005, matured for 12 years in a first-fill American sherry oak puncheon and bottled in 2017.
The puncheon yielded 584 bottles at a cask strength of 65.8%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings honeycomb, butter, cinnamon, raisin and tinned peaches with some spice. On the palate it is oaky, with fruit cake, raisin, sweetness and nuts, and the finish carries nutmeg, grapefruit and soft smoke.
