This is an older bottling of Highland Park 12 Year Old, from a distillery regarded as an emblem of the Orkney islands, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in former sherry casks, yet it is fresher in character than the current version of the 12 year old. Delicate peat blends with the sweetness that comes from the maturation.
