Highland Park 14 Year Old Loyalty of The Wolf is a single malt in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 42.3% ABV. Its colour is likened to white gold.
The nose opens with smoked butter, almonds, apples and vanilla sponge. Given time in the glass the smoke becomes more pronounced, with cinnamon, apricot and soft orange peel alongside. A little water brings out caramel and maple syrup.
On the palate come vanilla sponge, baked apples, cinnamon and light peat smoke, and the finish carries a touch of salt.
